Description

The Alien ALR-9680 RFID reader is a simple, low profile, gen 2 RFID solution. The ALR-9680 comes with out-of-the-box compatibility to other Alien RFID readers, along with easy integration through the use of the feature rich easy to use Alien Reader Protocol. The ALR-9680 isn’t laxed when it comes to platform support, with many programs such as Microsoft® BizTalk RFID, OatSystems, Oracle®, and Xterprise. Due to it’s 4 mono-static reader ports, the ALR-9680 can significantly reduce the cost and complexity of installing an RFID system.

A POE capability eliminates cost due to AC power and a POE power injector is included from situations when powering over Ethernet isn’t available. Development of custom interfaces has never been easier with a well-documented SKD featuring .NET, Java, and Ruby libraries, enabling desired control of the reader. The Alien RFID Gateway software puts the finishing touches on this overpowered reader, enabling the user to begin developing their solutions quickly and easily.

∗Some Features Include: A slim form-factor for installation in height-restricted places, EPC Gen 2 dense reader interoperability, and 4 mono-static reader ports. Along with being manageable and upgradable, the ALR-9680 is fully optimized with the feature-rich Alien Reader Protocol. The use of Power Over Ethernet (POE) also eliminates cost due to AC power drop.
